
Dr. Hallett is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience working in public institutions and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, compassion and common- sense solutions to issues. Dr. Hallett has served on the Suffield Police Commission since Fall 2021. She initially implemented the move to get all Police Commission meetings online and fully available to the public (followed by SPD leadership gaining a grant to pay for the technology). She is the sole Commissioner to have never missed a meeting during
her tenure, as she is dedicated to this work. She has spent time with all officers, doing full-shift ride-alongs on all 3 shifts and regularly checks in with both SPD officers and leadership. She brings her expertise in working with police and first responders to her position, utilizing these skills to enhance and support initiatives that welcome and benefit all town residents and the SPD.
