A resident of Suffield since 1997, Dan has dedicated over 46 years to service as a first responder in both fire and EMS. He served with the Suffield Fire Department for 16 years (2006– 2022), including four years as Deputy Chief (2018–2022). In addition to his work in public safety, he has over 25 years of experience as an assistant town manager. Recently retired after 12 years with a Fortune 500 company as an Emergency Management Consultant.
Earlier in his career, he served as a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps (1981–1985), where he was an infantry rifle platoon commander and logistics officer. His volunteer service in Suffield includes membership on the Emergency Management Committee (2016–2023), serving as an alternate on the Suffield Ethics Commission (2024–present), and coaching with Suffield Little League and recreation soccer.
