Kathy Dunai – Board of Selectmen
Kathy is a lifelong Suffield resident whose decades of service reflect a deep commitment to emergency response, municipal leadership, and community engagement. From her early roles in public safety to her distinguished tenure as Suffield’s elected Town Clerk, Kathleen has consistently demonstrated integrity, dedication, and a heartfelt devotion to her community. A third-generation steward of her family farm in West Suffield, she continues to serve on the Suffield
AgriScience Committee, is a board member of the Hartford County Farm Bureau, and is a founding member of the Suffield Farmers Market.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Former Suffield Town Clerk (2015–2023), with prior service as Assistant Town Clerk and Assistant Tax Collector
- Nearly 20 years with the Suffield Police Department in both administrative and sworn officer roles
- Longstanding volunteer and responder with the Suffield Ambulance Association and the Suffield Fire Department Association
- Recipient of the 2017 Zack Award for Outstanding Community Service
