I have served on the Planning & Zoning Commission for more than 5 years and my volunteer opportunities began when I moved to Suffield more than 40 years ago. Some of my first experiences were as a member of Child & Family Services (now Second Chance Shop), Suffield Little League Auxiliary, first chairperson of the Suffield Soccer Club and Spaulding School PTO President. I have been the Treasurer/Business Manger for The Suffield Observer for 20 years and am currently a member of the Suffield Tree Committee, Suffield Rotary Club, Suffield Environmental/Sustainability Task Force and the Suffield Democratic Town Committee.
While serving on the Planning & Zoning Commission, I participated in State-sponsored workshops enhancing my knowledge of land use and listened to residents concerns regarding several controversial issues. If re-elected, I pledge to continue to listen to and support issues that directly impact your quality of life.
