Biography of Erin L. Golembiewski – Candidate for Re-election to the Planning & Zoning Commission
Why Re-elect Erin:
I have served as a member of the Planning & Zoning Commission for the past four years. During this time, I believe I have delivered on my promise to utilize my experience as a litigation attorney, along with my sixteen years of experience living in Suffield, to render thoughtful decisions that have sought to maintain the agricultural, historic and residential nature of Suffield, with the understanding that a fair balance must be struck between preservation and progress.
About Erin:
After law school, I returned to Connecticut in 2003 to begin my legal career in the Judicial Branch of the State of Connecticut. Thereafter, I worked at a small law firm where I represented parties in civil actions. The majority of my legal career (2006-2015) was spent at a reputable law firm in Hartford, where I was a civil litigator who defended businesses and individuals in civil actions that involved professional liability claims, construction defects, personal injury and employment-related claims.
The twelve years I worked as an attorney provided me with invaluable and advantageous tools that have aided me over the past four years as a member of the Planning & Zoning Commission. I have used my skills as a legally educated, critical and meticulous thinker to analyze applications and regulatory issues in conjunction with applicable law and my knowledge of Suffield.
Once Re-elected, I Plan To:
